Captain Jack
I've never actually seen that Torchwood show, so I don't know a ton about Captain Jack, but in his Doctor Who episodes, it was cool to see him in his 'fatal-to-any-other-man' situations. When we find out who he later turns out to be, it's a very cool revelation, so I won't spoil it here :)
not bad but he smiles more!
ReplyDeleteTorchwood is excellent, made in and around were I live in Wales, new seris in USA had better not be a sell out.
Very cool. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent job man!
ReplyDeleteYou should give Torchwood a watch, Season 1 is uneven, but worth getting through as the second half of the season really came together and season 2 is much better AND we get more Martha Jones for the viewing. Season 3 (Children of Earth) was some amazing writing, really good drama.
I am hopefully optimistic for the Starz continuation, as they've been producing excellent drama. My only worry is that they'll gloss over the way things were left at the end of Children of Earth. The way it ended deserves to have consequences in the relationships of the main characters, and I'd hate to see that pushed aside so as not to alienate new viewers.
torchwood is pretty good, it fills the void whilst DW isnt on, also YAY more DW stuff ^^
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, YES! I have been waiting for this day for MONTHS! *fangirl squeal* Thank you so much for an epic Whosday/Torchwood pick-me-up to lift my spirits!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Ensifer
I would love to see who he later turns out to be done in your style XD I can't even really imagine what it would look like in my head, but I bet it would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this huge cast of Doctor Who characters, but not even one Star Wars character (are there really more than 10 central classic Star Wars characters?)
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean the WHOsdays continue? We'll keep posting the art over at "Life, Doctor Who, and Combom" so long as you keep making it. :)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME thank for doing him also can you please do harry potter and mabye star wars
ReplyDeleteLove it Dean! My favourite character in the Doctor Who universe! Still waiting for The Green Hornet & Kato...?
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are awesome and I agree you should watch Torchwood. It's a very adult show compared to Doctor Who. You have captured Jack perfectly. I love it. I really love it. Could I use a couple of the drawings? If nothing else, it will give you some publicity for your drawings. I love them. I want one as a poster.
ReplyDeleteThis is bl**dy brilliant! Thank you!
ReplyDeletePersonally I thought the reveal of jacks "Identity" was tacked on and made very little sense.
ReplyDeleteNot only does he not react to the name when he is stood right next to them and Martha says it's name.
It's much like when RTD in his final Doctor story has mickey and Martha married, just because he could, it made very little sense.
All that aside. Awesome. I;ve been waiting for a captain jack.
Any chance of Mickey Smith? that would be awesome!
Finally, More Doctor Who! Can't wait to see all the Doctors....
ReplyDeleteGreat Capt Jack, But he looks a little bit scruffy without his tie on ... remember he is a RAF officer after all. " standards old boy ! "
ReplyDeleteI was very lucky to see John Barrowman in London's West End Last year in La Cage aux Folles, as Albert / Zaza before the production moved to Broadway.
Like Him or NOT you cannot take away the fact that he is a VERY good actor. and a GREAT Singer. Don't let the accent fool you, he is really Scottish.
Torchwood was very adult, but very watchable. On the BBC in the UK they used to show the Show in its original form for the over 18's then they used to do a CUT version for the Kiddies. with some of the "naughty" bits cut out.
How about Sarah Jane Smith, she needs punxing soon too.
I just wet myself. In a good way. :o) x
ReplyDeleteOooh, amazing :D I wonder if you'll ever draw The Master! Everyone else looked great so far (Especially River Song and the Ood)
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork so far, it's an amazing blog to look at!
ReplyDeleteI have a request; could you do the most famous spy in all of moviedom-James Bond?
Don't know if you saw this, but this is one of the walls in the costume truck for Torchwood: Miracle Day. http://twitpic.com/40g7bs Spot anything familiar? :) Shawna Trpcic posted this on twitter :)
ReplyDeleteYeah mythmaker, somebody showed me that. Very cool of them to do that :)
ReplyDeleteEpic.
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!
