Superior Spider-Man

Marvel's "Superior Spider-Man"

If you've not heard, for some months now, Peter Parker has been, well, dead. On top of that, Otto Octavius (aka Doctor Octopus) has been inhabiting Peter's body, posing as Spider-Man all the while! Needless to say, this "Superior Spider-Man" has a different style than the old Spidey we all know and love.

Anyway, news is that Peter Parker is set for a resurrection soon, so if you like reading Superior Spider-Man, enjoy it while you can!

UPDATE - a cool creation from Emily today, she's come up with a Punx styled "Musa" from Winx Club that she's ready to show! You can check out her deviantart page too! Thanks Emily!

Gotta Catch 'Em All!

Ash Ketchum & Pikachu
I was really too old to be into Pokemon when it first came around (in North America anyway) but I became pretty familiar with it courtesy of the kids that were in my life at that time. Even today, I'm still amazed at the sustained popularity of Pokemon.

More SP reader art today as well! (click images to enlarge)

Igor has done an awesome job at Punx-ing with this image, wow! He says, "This is to be printed on banner fabric in large size to support our snowboard trip to Austria this March."

I'm giving a shout-out to an artist named Mauro who's stuff I've really liked. You can check out more of his cool pop culture art (and more!) at MrMauro.com

Cliff is has more Doctor Who goodness for us today;
"I’m back with a more modern villain encountered by the 11th Doc.  The Smilers from the episode called the Beast Below."

And check out this from George - www.simpsons-styles.blogspot.com
"It's meant to be Micheal Stevens from the YouTube channel Vsauce (one of my favorite channels)"
Here's also what he looks like in real life...

"His name... was Atreyu!"

Atreyu (from The Neverending Story)

I was very young when I saw The Neverending Story for the first time, and to put it mildly - the movie blew me away. The engaging characters, their world, and the unfolding of what "The Neverending Story" really was... it was amazing! Even though I was just a little guy, I knew it was a very unique film, that it was unlike anything I had ever seen before. In fact, I don't know if I've seen anything like it since.

On the reader-submitted side, check out these great pieces (click images to enlarge); first it's a Punx-ed up Terminator from Álvaro!

Also today is a really cool rendition of BBC's Sherlock sent in by George! Kudos, George!
