Silmer, Janine Melnitz, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man
Well, for day 7 of Ghostbusters Week, we're gonna round it out with a few Ghostbusters favorites.
Slimer is an essential, prominent in the movies as well as the cartoon and pretty much everything else that's had the Ghostbusters name on it. Crazy little guy.
Janine, well, I don't know what happened to her between Ghostbusters 1 and 2, but she went from frumpy and bookish to flashy fashion seeker for some reason. People change I guess.
And of course the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. (You may want to click on him for the full effect) I was delighted as a kid to see the fluffy massive mascot lumbering through New York. Kudos to the filmakers for being so original!
Well, thanks for checking out Ghostbusters Week y'all!
Stay tuned.

Ghostbusters Week: Day 6
Louis Tully
Man, when I saw Ghostbusters I thought Rick Moranis was hilarious. It was the first thing I ever saw him in. The Ghostbusters sequel wasn't as good as the first, but I even enjoyed Moranis in that, when he put on a proton pack himself and had to ride the Slimer-driven bus to go 'rescue' the Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters Week: Day 5
Dana Barrett
Sigourney Weaver creeped me out in this move, and that's all I have to say :)
So I heard about MJ. I don't want to start a big MJ talkback, but I'd better address the question 'will I do a Punx version of him?' Maybe. I'd need to find some time in the next little while, this all happened pretty suddenly. I'm gonna finish out Ghostbusters week anyway, and then we'll see.

Ghostbusters Week: Day 4
Ray Stantz
Ray was funny, he seemed to be a little too fascinated with his job. He seemed to soak up every new discovery and every new horror like a little boy eagerly dissecting a frog. His affection for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was particularly endearing.

Ghostbusters Week: Day 3
Egon Spengler
When I was little Egon was my favorite Ghostbuster, largely due to the cartoon show. I was friends with a couple of twin brothers and I would go home with them after school and watch the show on the little 6 inch black and white tv screen in their room. I had a great time.
Anyway, I liked Egon best because he was so smart and usually had a good handle on the situation. He came off as a bit more of a 'nerd' in the movie to me though.

Ghostbusters Week: Day 2
Winston Zeddemore
I always liked Winston. Yeah, he wasn't one of the founding Ghostbusters, but I liked how he was rather down to earth. Peter, Egon and Ray were each a bit...'eccentric' in their own ways, perhaps a either a bit too 'involved' in the job, or a bit too 'distracted'. Winston didn't seem sure what to make of the whole thing, but wanted to get the job done. I can appreciate that :)

Ghostbusters Week: Day 1
Peter Venkman
How can you not like Bill Murray? I understand the new Ghostbusters video game just came out too. With that and all the talk of a third movie, it seems Ghostbusters could be back in a big way.
I remember as a young kid, me and my friend would grab flashlights, put on our little backpacks from school, and would slowly creep from closet to closet in the darkened house looking to capture some ghosts. If I remember correctly, we even had a little rectangular cardboard box on a string we would throw out on the floor to trap the ghosts in. I guess you can have fun without having to buying a bunch of toys after all.
Bustin' makes me feel good.
Catch you tomorrow!

Deadpool Time!
Hey all, just wanted to take a quick dip (pardon the 'pool' pun) into the Marvel universe again to put out one of the often requested characters, Deadpool. In case you don't know, he's a wisecracking mercenary product of the Weapon X program. I understand he's in the new Wolverine movie too. I haven't seen it myself, so it'll be interesting to see how the movie portrays him.
