Update -
Alright you sticklers, hopefully this will make you happy. Apparently Link is 'left-handed'. Enjoy.

I don't have a history of really being the biggest video gaming guy, but whenever I've gone to Nintendo for a fun time, Link has always been there. From 8-bit on up, I have many fond memories playing or watching Zelda games with friends.
Strange as it sounds, In a way I almost feel like I've grown up along with Link, watching him transition from console to console, and all his visual styles in between. It's been cool seeing him explore fantastic worlds and overcome challenges along the way.
Which has been your favorite Zelda game through the years?

I'm kind of partial to Link's Awakening. It wasn't his fault he got himself stuck in a dream world...
ReplyDeleteI've actually been playing through the Zelda series again this year. Did 1 and 2 on the NES, then Link to the Past, now I'm on Ocarina.
ReplyDeleteI think I held Twilight Princess as my fave but I keep thinking about Wind Waker...there's just something about the atmosphere in that one that gets me.
(love this blog btw)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)!!
ReplyDeleteI just "discovered" the Zelda games when my boyfriend bought me Phantom Hourglass. Now I can't wait to get Spirit Tracks in a couple of days! :)
ReplyDeleteWind Waker...
ReplyDeletewhat can i say!? my all time favs would be... mmm... thats a hard one...
ReplyDeletebut i think "a link to the past", then... "ocarina of time" and "majoras mask"... "phantom hourglass" oh maaaan what an awesome gameplay!!!
and the wind waker, it was so nice to see him in a diferent light for the first time :3!
but still i love them all
A Link to the Past, hands down.
ReplyDeleteYou're a man after my own heart. Thanks for the Link tribute. The Legend of Zelda is what got my mom to threaten to throw the gray box against a tree and smash it into a million pieces. I would have to say that I enjoyed The Legend of Zelda best being that it not only blew my mind as far as video games go but would eventually lead to my ease with computers (the drop down menu with all the items was my first experience with "windows"). I haven't beat one since A Link to the Past but they've all been fun. Haven't played Twilight.
ReplyDeleteYour work its amazing...
ReplyDeleteLove Wind Waker
ReplyDeleteHaha, cool picture!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Zelda games are the Oracle games on Gameboy Color.
I also liked Majoras Mask a lot.
You must always remember that Link is left handed!
Unless you own the Wii version of Twilight Princess, then he's right handed. :V
My favorite Zelda game of all time has to be A Link to the Past!
ReplyDeleteA Link to the Past, doesn't get any bigger than that.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo64. It was my first 3D Zelda. The music, the atmosphere....unforgettably
ReplyDeleteNow I bought the Zelda Collector's Edition for the GameCube, to explore the story
The Ocarina of Time. The first time you stepped out of the tree house and saw Link's village spread out vbefore you...then when you stepped out onto the plains of Hyrule, and saw the fields stretching into the distance...
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry but I don't know this game!!! It's good drawing like ever!!! Have a nice day! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your work!
ReplyDeleteYou did Link, now you have to do Mario to. ^^
This is really, really good. Certainly captures both the character of Link and the style of the setting of The Simpsons well, and seems really professionally drawn.
ReplyDeleteWell done, and if I had to rate this, I'd give it five stars.
Oh, and The Legend of Zelda is such a good series. I remember Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker quite well.
awesome, men !
ReplyDeleteon snes he did wear pant? i would look to pevert on 3D ;)

Great work! I've actually only played the game once or twice with my friends but I really enjoyed it. I'm kind of those people who doesn't play the game but knows almost everything about it. Probably thanks to the parody by Smosh.
ReplyDeletePhantom Hourglass on Nintendo and Twilight Princess on Wii.
