It IS rocket science...

The Rocketeer

I have to admit, it's been a very long time since I've watched The Rocketeer, but you have to love the awesomely retro outfit he sports. How cool is that helmet of his?

Dirty House

Dr. House

Well, to be honest, I've never actually seen a full episode of House (or a "full House" if you will), but somebody told me they wanted to see him on here and I thought I'd try it. Besides, Hugh Laurie has a unique and interesting scruffy kinda face. I could see him on Simpsons one day.

You bet it's an X-man!

Gambit

Gambit version 2
I did get a good number of requests for this guy and here he is finally - the card throwing cajun member of the X-men. I understand he's in the new Wolverine movie. I guess we'll see how that turns out, but I do enjoy the comic version of him.

Now you don't need to request him anymore. This is a side-project folks! You people are ruthless!

heh heh, just kidding.

Kind of :)

EDIT; heh, you often don't realize the little details you can miss, something didn't quite look right, now I just noticed that Gambit's ear is supposed to be poking out on the side there, so I fixed that. Later!

EDIT AGAIN; Sigh. I had a comment from an anonymous person who pointed out Gambit's eyes, how they're supposed to be kinda red with black instead of the whites and I guess he's right. I've seen that myself before, but that never occurred to me when doing it. He's a bit creepier looking that way, so heck, here's both of them to choose what you like. Later!

Bad Day for Vamps

Blade

Here's Blade, Marvel's resident snappy dresser/vampire hunter.

Ok, I have to ask... Who'd win between Blade and Buffy?

A Dose of DC

Green Lantern (John Stewart), Hawkman, Plastic Man

Hey all, just wanted to post up a few more of my favorite DC characters -

I didn't know too much about the Jon Stewart Green Lantern until the Justice League cartoon came around, but he's a character I quite like now.

Hawkman is awesome, I remember the Super Powers action figure of this guy, probably one of the best figures of that line.

And Plastic Man, well, he's just a lot of fun and a great visual. Click him to embiggen him of course.

Hope you like! Later!

Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?

Indiana Jones

I don't know if I have much to say about the Indiana Jones movies, other than the fact that growing up, I loved watching them as tv matinees, great adventures and a lot of fun.

My favorite is definately Raiders of the Lost Ark. I haven't bothered to watch the new one yet though. Is it worth watching? Let me know...

EDIT - 'MOCK!' in the comments made a request for the Cairo Swordsman, I'm a fairly sentimental guy myself, so here he is...

"Saved by kitty litter"

Batman Returns Batman, Catwoman, Penguin

Batman Returns is a strange animal.

I think a lot of people were surprised by the tone of the movie after having seen the first Batman in 89. It seemed to have even more of that now trademark Burton influence to it.

Anyway I'm not sure how I feel about it. I thought the way they did Penguin character was an interesting concept, but came off as far too crass. Catwoman was downright nuts, but in a likable way. Bruce Wayne had an odd quirkiness that let Keaton's personality shine through in a way it never could in the first film.

The whole movie is rather fantastical and has a tone not typical of a superhero film, that's for sure.

My favorite line in the movie is from Bruce Wayne - "You know what, I mistook me for somebody else."
