Rose Tyler was pretty awesome. A voracious appetite for adventure, and rather brave when you think about it. Bad Wolf.
Aaaanyway, this being the last Tuesday of the year, it also marks the conclusion of 'Whosdays'. Now, that's not to say I'm done with Doctor Who stuff (I'm itching to try a Tom Baker sometime) but it won't be at the same pace that it has been. It's a tough pace to keep up :)
But, having just seen the new Doctor Who Christmas Special, I was eager to put some new Matt Smith variations together, including a Hollywood 1952 version :) Here's to a great 2011 my friends!
Nice Rose, to think that Rose had a very exciting life with the Doctor (or Doctors) when in real life Billie's life was just as exciting. A teenage Pop princes, a bride to a millionaire Tv & radio star, (we won't mention the boozing) then a rich divorced woman, getting the Dr Who gig, a 2nd marriage this time into a family of british stage and film "ROYALTY", becoming a mother, all before 30.... Not bad,,,
ReplyDeleteCannot say the Xmas Special was the greatest. but It looked great. I Loved the Marilyn " back story " you wonder Who was the Best Man... Frank, or Elvis " Thank you very much ! "
Thanks Dean for making Tuesdays more interesting over the last few months

ReplyDeleteBrilliant as always.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you'll still be doing more even if not as regularly. Would love to have all eleven Doctors in the same style eventually.
Thanks for it. I love Rose Tyler. She is my favorite companion from Doctor who. She is strong compassionate. I love her relationship with the Doctor who. I miss her but I'm glad she's got her happy ending.
ReplyDeleteawesome as usual! did you ever think about making 1" buttons out of these designs? they'd be classic.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Absolutely phenomenal. I'm going to miss Whosdays as a reason to get up in the morning, but thank a million for the past few months! Way to end 2010 with a bang!

Yeah, Rose is pretty great. And so are these. I really like the subtle differences in all 3 versions. Kudos sir!
ReplyDeleteLovely rendition of Rose! She looks poised for action. Loving the outfits too. And the Matt Smith variationts are great, well done on coming out with them so fast. I've loved your Whosdays stuff. The characters were fantastic likenesses and the monsters were awesome and they were all so detailed.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dean. Waiting so long for Rose! I appreciate your work and can't wait for more Who, when you can!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all these designs, not just Doctor Who. They're so much fun!
ReplyDeleteany possibilities of you doing a wallpaper with all of your Doctors and their companions? (maybe throw in a jack and mickey too with 9) I have the one you did for season 5, but would like to see one of just the doctors and companions, no monsters.
