Doctor Who's 6th Doctor (Colin Baker)
Getting to another Doctor today... Colin Baker! How can you not love his bright, patchwork outfit? Genius! If there are any other important variations of him to draw, let me know.
Just one more Doctor left to do I think...
UPDATE!
Benjamin has done a great remix of my Fight Club Brad Pitt to bring you a World War Z Pitt that I wanted to share. Thanks Ben!
can't what for the 7th one and could you do some more torchwood people afterwoards
ReplyDeleteNo 6 always makes me think of Marvel "superhero" Captain Ultra. Who is at once so lame and obscure that he should be on PUNX.

Haha, I remember Captain Ultra! You're right Paul, they do share a similar fashion sense :)
DeleteExcept that one faints at the sight of a lit match.
ReplyDeleteAt last! And as grand as I hoped it would be! Wow! Colin is my second favourite Doctor after Matt!
ReplyDeleteMaybe when you have done Seven , we could get an Eleven Doctors wallpaper? Maybe in a Punxed-up TARDIS?
Also, maybe for a variantion you coukd do him minus the jacket as he was in The Two Doctors?
Thanks for the tip on "The Two Doctors" Sam, I might just get around to that sometime then!
DeleteBy the way, I forgot to mention, you better give Seven his ? Umbrella, I beg of you!
DeleteSo much love!!! <3<3 I do adore Sixy... :] And eeeee! You gave him his umbrella! And remembered the cat pin! AND did the Big Finish version in the blue coat!
ReplyDelete(I would cheekily suggest the "Millennial Rites" version, but I'm pretty sure I'd be the only person who'd get it... :P )
Yus, one more Doctor to go! \o/
(Well...one and a half, I suppose you could say...'coz this chap needs his alter-ego now! ;) )
I get the Millennial Rites thing to. It's fun being a nerd.
Deleteare you going to do the doctor jonh hurt????
ReplyDeleteWell, there's the Seventh Doctor, so there the brown coat and the grey coat and TV Movie versions of him to do (and don't forget the umbrella with the ? handle)
ReplyDeleteand then as Aietra says, it might be good to do the John Hurt Doctor
And then there's the 12th Doctor (once they are announced)
and there's always Peter Cushing's Movie Doctor too
So there's no rest for the Wicked just yet!
Don't forget the white linen suit version from the Virgin New Adventures!
DeleteExcellent work as always! Just my favourite Doctor left! So glad you saved the best for last (yes, fandom, that's right, THE BEST! Get used to it!)
DeleteThere's always Richard E. Grant's Shalka Doctor from Scream of the Shalka as well, not to mention the mysterious Valeyard, Watcher and Dream Lord.
DeleteAnd if you want to get really deep into it there's always the alternate 9th-13th Doctors from The Curse of Fatal Death played by Rowan Atkinson, Richard E. Grant (again), Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant and Joanna Lumley respectively.
Then there's the Nick Brigg's Future Doctor from the comic stories Party Animals, Wormwood and the fan-made series Audio Visuals, all six What-if Doctors from the Unbound series, the Burner Doctor from series four of the Gallifrey audio spin-off, Trevor Martin's Doctor from the Seven Keys to Doomsday, the parallel universe 3rd Doctor from Inferno (aka The Leader) and Mr. Popplewick from The Trial of a Time Lord. And that's just the ones that have made physical appearances.
Have I missed any?
Brilliant. I like how you did his blue outfit as well. Ironically I was listening to a behind the scenes feature for an audio story when I decided to see if you'd posted anything new. Just as the page loaded, Colin Baker started speaking in the interview. Coincidence, or something a little more wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey?
ReplyDeleteawesome work likes this very much, just left to do sylvester mccoy, and please do the classic sibermen, greetings.
ReplyDeleteSpringfield Punx, can you do the Sixth Doctor dressed in black? That's what Colin Baker originally wanted to wear to show the Doctor's dark personality.
ReplyDeleteyay! Springfield Punx does Sixie! Nice one, Dean. McCoy next! [inc TV Movie version pls!]
ReplyDeleteI love this. Excellent work! I love Sixie!
ReplyDeleteI remember there was the stage play version of his outfit, which had darker colours - mostly purple and red.
I'm reading your comments guys. I'll let you know, most of you are probably greater WHO experts than I am :) I can consider some of your suggestions, though I would ask for your emails with some photo references to help me out if you're able. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCan you please do John Hurts Doctor

Love that you included the blue version!
ReplyDeleteSeconding the request for McCoy next [and I know you've usually left the classic companions to others but I'd love to see Ace in your better style]!
Ainley Master, please T_T
ReplyDeleteLove your Sixie, who I've always had a soft spot for. However, you're missing a couple of slight costume changes.
ReplyDeleteNamely the red spotted cravat and check waistcoat he wore for most of the Trial season and the yellow spotted cravat with a purple, green and white striped waistcoat from the Vervoid story.
If you haven't got pics please let me know, I'll be happy to email you some.
I noticed someone wanted a version of him dressed in the stageplay outfit. if you still haven't any photos of that I've got a couple of those also.
Oh, really? Yeah, I'll need your help, please email me some pics if you can, it would really help.
