Beep Boop Twirrrr!

Star Wars' R2D2

My favorite Star Wars character is R2D2. If you think about it, he's the largely unsung hero of the series. Sure, he's kinda cute - but when you boil it down, he's one hardcore dude that just does what needs to be done, without asking for kudos from anybody. Much respect, Mr. Deetoo!

Also today I want to do a shout-out to awesome LOST actor (and currently in "The Tomorrow People") Mark Pellegrino who is using the Punx version of himself for his twitter page! (BTW, I'm loving the tweets I'm reading Mark, you're a thoughtful dude!)

And after I posted Wyldstyle, SP friend Lewis has put together this Lego Movie image featuring her and Batman. Thanks Lewis!

ME AM BIZARRO

DC Comics villain "Bizarro"

It was time again to do a classic DC villain, and this time I chose the twisted Superman doppelganger, Bizarro! You think we'll see Bizarro in the movies someday?

"Come with me if you wanna not die."

"Wyldstyle" (from The Lego Movie)

An interesting suggestion came in this week from a SP fan named Lewis; He suggested that I should try to translate something from "The Lego Movie" to Simpsons style! It was a curious idea to me and I wanted to try it. There's a lot of your own interpretation you can put into it when you're doing this kind of thing - and after all, when going from Lego style to Simspons, the skin color stays the same!

The New Flash!

TV's upcoming Flash (Grant Gustin)

I don't know much about Grant Gustin, but he did a nice job on Arrow as Barry Allen. When I was a kid I was a big fan of the original Flash TV show so I'm waiting with anticipation to see this new one. I even hear some Flash cast members will make an appearance on Arrow in April, cool!

Anyway, I do wish the costume was a slight bit closer to the comic version, but in any case I'm just happy it's not a typical "CW hoodie and jeans" look. What do you guys think?

Doctor Who's Clara

Clara Oswald (from new season of Doctor Who)

An updated Clara for you today, and a "fresh regeneration" Capaldi 12th Doctor as a bonus.

Also today, Niquolas (cargocollective.com/niqq) did a great Simpsons style Kanye West, check it out!

Here are some very cool "meetings and mashups" images by Jorge! Check out his site here - http://goo.gl/EE6JHg

Boba Fett

Boba Fett (from the original Star Wars trilogy)

This one is pretty self explanatory, it's Boba Fett :) I had the orginal Kenner action figure of this guy when I was little - and even though at that age I hadn't even figured out what the character's name was, I still loved that toy.

April O'Neil

April O'Neil (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon)

Another classic character from my much beloved childhood original TMNT cartoon! Don't know why I haven't drawn her until now!

Also today, you can check out Álvaro's "Punx drawing" of Legolas from the Hobbit!

And as a last note - Thanks for entertaining and inspiring us, Harold Ramis! We'll miss you!
