Doctor Who's mysterious (John Hurt) Doctor
Well at the finale of the last season (series) of Doctor Who, we were treated to quite the mystery in the form of the John Hurt's Doctor. We don't know where he fits exactly, but apparently he did committed some act that was "not in the name of the Doctor". Quite the tantalizing mystery! I guess we'll see what happens in the 50th Special!
More DW goodness as well today from Cliff! Here's his description;
"Back to the 11th Doc this time, and 2 scenes from an Episode called “Victory of the Daleks” , one with
Winston Churchill, Prof Bracewell, and the other pic of the Doctor with the Tardis self-destruct button (Jammy Dodger) and the "Paradigm" of Daleks."

ReplyDelete***SPOILERS***
ReplyDeleteActually we DO know where he fits in, he is the REAL 9th doctor which was skipped over between the movie and resurgence in 2005. Chris Eccleston's doctor suppressed the memory of his past incarnation because he didn't live up to the name 'the doctor' (he HURT people I guess :p ). The clothes are somewhat of a hybrid of the 8th (movie) and Chris' versions. source:http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/tv/4921644/doctor-who-50th-anniversary-special-spoilers.html
***END SPOILERS***
Really he is Paul McGann's 8th Doctor, but regenerated, and he's call himself "The War Doctor".
ReplyDeleteReally, he is Paul McCann's 8th Doctor, but renegerated, and he's called himself "The War Doctor"
ReplyDeleteHow's about a Young War Doctor ie John Hurt as he was in 1975? The shot of him in "Night of the Doctor" was from that year's BBC production of Crime And Punishment. Go on!
