The Seventh Doctor!
Doctor Who's 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy)
Okay, I've bitten the bullet - here is the last of the 12 (until the Capaldi one comes around)... It's the much-requested Seventh Doctor, Sylvester McCoy. I didn't plan this, but it's funny that my last post - The Riddler - is also a guy holding something with a question mark handle. Weird. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

WHOsday; Doctor Who - the Peter Cushing version
Doctor Who (As played by Peter Cushing in the Dalek films of the 60s)
It wasn't until recently that I even knew this Peter Cushing version of the Doctor existed! Apparently there were a couple of Dalek films in the 60's, and Cushing's Doctor was different and separate from the tv version. One interesting difference is that this Doctor's name actually was "Doctor Who"!
Anyway, this one is for those Whovians requesting him, and thanks for the tip!

Super Mario's Bowser!

The big baddie from the Super Mario Bros. games, it's Bowser - a character who has been a nemesis to many of us growing up. But hey, what would we do without ya, Bowser?

I also today wanted to share with you the Indiegogo crowdfunding project from SP friend Dave Nagel, it's a Doctor Who parody film called "Little Who of Terror" which looks to be really cool! Some backers will even get a Chibi drawing of themself as a reward. Check it out at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/little-who-of-terror
And another SP friend named Veysel has been working on his vector Simpsons artwork and has shared his awesome progress with us! He's done a Bart and Homer, as well as the ninja I did in my tutorial How To Draw Eye-Catching Cartoons (The Springfield Punx Way) Thanks Veysel!

Captain Power! Power On!
Please permit me today to indulge in one of the beloved, diamond-in-the-rough shows from my youth, the live-action 80's post-apocalyptic adventure show "Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future". It was in many ways ahead of it's time, but it was also kinda dark. The effects were good for the era, especially Lord Dread's menacing CGI robots, Sauron in particular.
The show also featured one of the coolest toy lines, with great looking action figures and ships/vehicles that would actually interact with the tv show - you could actually shoot the bad guys on the screen, and be shot by them! It blew my mind as a kid!
In any case, I hear the show may be up for a revival, this time under the name "Phoenix Rising"! More details on the Phoenix Rising Facebook page.

Doctor Who's Mystery Doctor
Doctor Who's mysterious (John Hurt) Doctor
Well at the finale of the last season (series) of Doctor Who, we were treated to quite the mystery in the form of the John Hurt's Doctor. We don't know where he fits exactly, but apparently he did committed some act that was "not in the name of the Doctor". Quite the tantalizing mystery! I guess we'll see what happens in the 50th Special!
